• Support of a major American service company against a wrongful termination lawsuit. The suing employee had been terminated due to alleged conflict-of-interest involvement with outside vendors previously hired by this employee to provide services on behalf of our client. Our investigative efforts uncovered and established that this employee had previously been terminated from another job for exactly the same reason, paving the way for a quick resolution to the case.
   
• Support of a major energy company in its defense against two lawsuits alleging discrimination. This matter involved financing ownership of retail facilities owned by minorities, and our efforts focused on conducting background investigations of the plaintiffs, their witnesses and all aspects of their business proposals to support the client’s legal team in preparing a defense.
   
• Support of a major American manufacturer’s pre-litigation efforts in connection with alleged conflict-of-interest activities by former employees. Our efforts included conducting background investigations of more than 20 separate individuals and business entities, as well as establishing a telephone database to analyze literally thousands of telephone calls made from our client’s telephone system by former employees. As a result, we were able to identify numerous telephone calls allegedly made by these employees to telephone numbers of a major competitor during the time that these employees were still working for our client, thus severely weakening the former employees’ case.
