Allegations of fraud frequently demand surveillance and undercover efforts – often undertaken on short notice – in order to investigate the activities of companies or individuals suspected of other forms of deceit. • Cosmetics products illegally sold at swap meets. Larsen AVR Group was engaged by a major cosmetics firm to investigate allegations that the company's products were being sold by company associates at swap meets in direct violation of the firm's sales policies.  Our investigations, conducted by an Hispanic because the perpetrators only spoke Spanish, discovered that the products were indeed being sold at swap meets, by individuals not even associated with our client firm.
   
• The marketing of counterfeit hair care products. A major hair product company retained Larsen AVR Group to conduct undercover activities using a female investigator to look into allegations that the company's products were being counterfeited. We discovered such products in local beauty supply firms.
